Google’s New A.I. Is About to Melt Your Parents’ and Childrens’ Brains
And there’s nothing you can do about it. Good luck!

There’s been a lot of talk about the “dead internet theory,” but not a whole lot of blame being thrown around about who actually killed it. Sure, you have journalists like Ed Zitron sounding the alarm about the people doing things like actively making internet searches worse, but very few people are willing to point the finger at the individuals who are making the experience of going online worse by the day.
No matter who you want to lay this terrible mantel on, I think we can all agree that A.I. companies are playing a big role in it. However, rather than wearing this as a badge of shame, they’re actually *proud* of what they’re doing, and they’re continuing to put out products that make everything even shittier than it already is.
For example, one user on X/Twitter showed how Google’s new Flow and Veo 3 programs can generate audio and video at the same time, allowing everyday users to create brainrot at a scale unlike anything we’ve ever seen before.
Get ready for your children to start talking like ChatGPT and your parents to start sending you even more videos about celebrities eating baby brains!
By the end of this year, most short-form content on platforms like TikTok will probably be AI-generated.
