Every four years, people make a lot of hay about how important it is to vote. However, while throwing a vote in for the President can’t hurt, at the end of the day, your individual vote for President is largely inconsequential.

The place where your vote *really* matters is local elections. Your local representatives can make a real difference in your community, and in turn, you can more easily hold their feet to the fire if they screw up.

Or, if you’re this one particularly unhinged guy, you can just choose one local representative and (allegedly) make their life hell by posting their phone number, accusing them of “‘engaging in criminal conduct’ with a family member,” and, as this video shows, mooning them.
