TikTokers Are Calling Bars Before Going There to ‘Check the Vibe’
Working smarter, not harder.

We’ve all had the experience of mustering up the energy to go out to a bar, only to learn upon arrival that the place sucks.
Well, Gen Z isn’t having that. On TikTok, users are filming themselves ringing up bars and asking about the vibe, how many people are there and, most importantly, if the people who *are* there are hot.
While this appears to have started as a bit of a joke, some are taking to the practice as a genuinely good way to improve their going-out experience. So, if you work at a bar, get ready to get a bunch of phone calls from newly-21-year-olds asking whether the people in your establishment are “fit.”
